Rector of Pitsford with Boughton
Welcome to these web pages, which I hope will provide all the information you need about church life in these parishes in rural Northamptonshire, just to the north of the county town of Northampton itself.
We are part of the Diocese of Peterborough, in the Archdeaconry of Northampton and the Deanery of Brixworth.
I have been the Rector (or minister) here since 1988. I also serve as a member of General Synod, the Church of England's parliament, and as one of the Church Commissioners for England.
Baptism
We look forward to welcoming you and your children to receive Baptism and to prepare for Confirmation.
Weddings
If you live here or worship here it may be possible to arrange for your wedding or the blessing of your marriage in one of our churches.
Teaching
We teach the Christian faith according to the Bible, the Creeds and the Anglican tradition of Word and Sacrament.
We seek to make known the love of God which he revealed to his Church in the person of his Son, Jesus Christ, and his saving work on the Cross for all mankind.
We are Anglican churches, and we welcome Christians of all denominations to share in our life and fellowship, and those who are baptised are invited to receive with us the gift of Christ in the holy Communion.
We aim to be a welcoming, friendly and supportive community, for people of all ages, valuing and encouraging all God's people to contribute their many gifts to the building up of the kingdom of God in this place.
